Dog Training

PetMedSpa is committed to help you establish a long lasting enjoyable friendship with your canine friend. Early intervention is the key to success. Puppy Kindergarten is the best way to start a long lasting happy relationship for your dog and you. Classes are 6 weekly consecutive sessions. They are fun for both the puppy and the owner, and very affordable. Follow-up clicker training classes are also offered for older newcomers ad for graduated puppies from Kindergarten.

Clicker Training

Clicker training classes are designed for adolescent and adult dogs ( 6 months and older). Basic obedience and good behavior are taught through a reward system using the clicker. This method of training is also great for teaching new tricks! This class focuses on teaching you to use the clicker in a way that caters to your specific needs.

Puppy Kindergarten

Just like many diseases, prevention is much easier than a cure. Puppy classes expose puppies to situations they may encounter in the future which may cause them to be fearful or aggressive. Early and intense socialization during a puppy’s “critical period” of 4 to 16 weeks is the most important investment in your puppy’s life. Investing your time in this critical period will shape the dog you will have.

Puppies will spend time socializing with other puppies to learn important dog communication skills. They will learn to be outgoing and friendly with strangers. They will learn not to be afraid in new situations or of new objects. These skills will allow them to grow into confident, friendly adults.

You will learn basics of puppy behavior and training including crate training, house training, leash manners, safe play between kids and puppies, bite inhibition, food bowl safety, “drop it, leave it, sit, down, come” commands and more.

Pet Grooming

PetMedSpa offers a grooming salon on site, owned by Groomingdales, LLC. Appointments can be scheduled directly with them at (765) 490-3847. Your pet can also be groomed during its stay at PetMedSpa. Please make your grooming arrangements through Groomingdales prior to your pets stay.

Day Care

PetMedSpa provides a day care program for our canine friends. Individually personalized activities are provided during the day and also includes 3 walks outside, 2 sessions of activities in the morning and 3 sessions in the afternoon and lots of TLC.

Daycare is available only during week-days from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Half-days (9 am-12 pm/ 12 pm-5 pm) are also available. Fees are $26.25 for full-day, and $18.40 for half-day. Spaces are very limited; make your reservation in advance.

Dog and Cat Boarding

Dog Boarding

Our lodging facility for our canine friends features 6 suites (6’X8’), 4 deluxe suites (8’X8’) with interior and exterior windows, and 10 (3′x9′) runs. These suites are big enough to share with one or two siblings. Bed and toys are provided or you can bring your own! PetMedSpa has an indoor and outdoor playground as well as a fitness center. While your dog(s) is boarding with us they will receive three walks daily in our fenced in back yard.

Cat Boarding

Our feline guests are lodged in individual suite (6’X4’) with bed and perch, with an exterior view of our aviary, and an inside glass door. PetMedSpa offers a playroom where our guests can exercise with the different attractive toys.
